Support on IT Equipment

OST has an inhouse support department which provides all the necessary help & support to its customers and users on Installation, Configuration, Technical training, User trainings, Troubleshooting and Repairing/Replacement of faulty IT equipment under warranty or post warranty under annual maintenance contracts.

Our support team is equipped with all the testing & diagnostic tools and related software to identify & rectify the problems with IT equipment installed at customer sites. Support department of OST comprises of the following teams based on the nature of the IT infrastructure.

  • Support Team for Active Networking Components which include Network Switches, Routers, UTMs, Electronic & IT Surveillance Equipment, Audio & Video Communications equipment etc.
  • Support Team for Passive Networking Components which include Structured cabling components and Cabling Infrastructures, Networking Racks etc.

Support on Office Automation Equiptment

Apart from our Support team for IT equipment, OST has a full-fledged Service department to provide service & support for Office automation equipment which include Mail Room Solutions being offered by OST as one of the offerings in OST product portfolio. This service department is being managed by a senior service manager to whom our service team reports which is stationed at major regional & branch offices of OST on PAN India basis.

This specially equipped Service department for Mail Room Equipment and solutions provide all the required services to its esteemed users and customers which include installation of Franking Systems, Print Finish Systems, User Trainings, Coordinating with Govt. Authorities for Licensing and related services, Service & Repairs of Franking Systems etc.

RMA Services

For some of the equipment where repairs are not possible, the defective Goods are required to be returned to the Original Equipment Supplier/Manufacturer for the replacement. Our support department also mange the RMA (Return Merchandizing Authorization) services and ensure the replacement of defective equipment of our customers by the functional units within the stipulated time.

Helpdesk Services

To manage the entire process of Call registration & Complaint Booking, OST has an inhouse Helpdesk department equipped with Toll Free contact numbers. All our customers having any requirement of support from our support team, get in touch with our helpdesk through Toll Free number, Email, WhatsApp etc. and register their requirement and complaints. Each and every request or complaint from OST customer is acknowledged with a Token number and immediately assigned to the related support engineer for providing the instant solution and guidance to the user. At the same time the user is also informed about the visit of the respective service engineer for resolving the issues reported by him.

Apart from registering and reporting the customer requests and complaints our help desk also coordinates with the service team to manage the entire service cycle till the time the affected customer is satisfied.
